Need to knows

Before you volunteer

We want your volunteer experience to be smooth and meaningful. Here’s everything you need to know before your first shift, from arrival details to dress code:

Do I have to schedule in advance or can I just show up?
How old do I have to be to volunteer?
Can I bring food to donate when I come to volunteer?
What should I wear?
Do I need to bring anything to volunteer?
Where do I park?
How do I get community service hours?

Step behind the scenes

Take a guided tour and learn how food moves from donations to distribution, meet our team, and see firsthand how volunteers power our mission.
